This is a short animation I made basically to test how a finished colored product could look like from me. Its the first one that I’ve fully colored and added sound to, so I’ll have at least this much effort put into future works.
City Inspiration
Among these inspiration images are a pretty seaside sunset, which I saw and then stole the color pallet of, two images from Mirror’s edge, which I stole the skyline from, and then another image of The Citadel from Half Life 2, a horrifying building!
Animation Process
And here is the animation overlayed onto the background. I added the foreground building very sloppily, as the fill tool in Pencil2D is not the best!
I colored in Guy! I was happy with this 🙂
All I had to do now was color in the pipe on the side, and then I was finally done with the visuals. After this, I got a bunch of sound effects from Zapsplat.com which gives free sounds, I have to cite it for legal reasons. Here on the left is the final project, super fun to make! 🙂
